GLP-1 First Invoice: How to Reconcile the Quote With the Charge
A headline monthly price and the first invoice often describe different things. The fastest way to spot the difference is to separate every charge and match it to a written term.
Create a seven-line ledger
List the consultation, subscription, medication, required lab work, pharmacy or fulfillment, shipping, and any recurring monitoring fees. Record which items are one-time and which automatically repeat. Ask for the date the next charge is expected.
Identify the exact product and time window
A quote should make clear which medication, form, strength or dose and supply duration it covers. Costs can differ by pharmacy, insurance, dose, state and availability. Do not assume a starting price applies to every patient or every future month.
Document the cancellation terms
Read the written refund and auto-renewal rules before giving payment details. Save the offer screenshot, dated terms, order confirmation and correspondence. Check what happens if the clinician decides not to prescribe or if your preferred product is unavailable.
Resolve a mismatch promptly
If the invoice differs from the quote, ask the merchant to identify the specific fee and the policy authorizing it. Keep a respectful written record and do not share sensitive health or payment information unnecessarily. A price comparison is not a medical eligibility decision.
